7/29/2007– PA Blue Thunder-Roberts won their pool at the U-15 USJN National Championship Tournament in Washington D.C. and then advanced to the Final 4 where they were eventually defeated.

4/1/2007– Congratulations to PA Blue Thunder Teams- Pat Gruss’ U13 team and Doug Roberts’ U-15 team both went undefeated (4-0) at our Hoop Start Tournament this past weekend.

4/22/2007– Tom Rasko’s U-15 team went undefeated (5-0) at the Steal City Tournament this past weekend.

5/6/2007– Pat Gruss’ U-13 Team went undefeated (4-0) at the Hagerstown Magic Tournament over the weekend.

5/20/2007– PA Blue Thunder U-15 Roberts qualified for the AAU National Tournament in Nashville by going 3-2 at the AAU Super Regional Tournament hosted by the Renegades in Philadelphia.

3/25/2007– BG Freshman Shines for Lady Marauders (Roberts U-15)

6/17/2007– Doug Roberts’ U-15 team went 5-1 and finished 2nd at the Carrier Dome Pre-Nationals Tournament this past weekend in Syracuse, New York.

7/2/2007– Bill McCutcheon’s U-16 team went undefeated winning all 7 of their games at the Gettysburg Tournament. They followed that by capturing the championship at the Fredonia NY Tourney.

7/9/2007– Doug Roberts’ U-15 team captured 1st Place in their Final Pool at the PSU Blue Chip Invitational. The girls had an overall tournament record of 6-2 and won their last five games en route to winning the Pool Championship.

6/23/2007– Sue Leberfinger’s U-13 team took 1st place at the U-Turn Tournament in Richmond, Virginia. |

11/11/2007– Lindsy Sammarco won the Pittsburgh Steelers’ team championship in the girls’ ages 14-15 division in the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick skills competition before the game Sunday. (Roberts U-15)

4/21/2008– PA Blue Thunder-Roberts captured the U-15 Championship at the Reebok Deep South Classic in Raleigh this past weekend. It is the first time that a Central PA AAU team has won a major tournament at the national level. Their Deep South opponents at had a combined tournament record of 19-6. Great job ladies!!!!
