11/11/2007– Lindsy Sammarco won the Pittsburgh Steelers’ team championship in the girls’ ages 14-15 division

in the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick skills competition before the game Sunday. Sammarco and the other participants then displayed their passing skills at halftime, and Sammarco was recognized with the other 7 Steelers team champions between the third and fourth quarters.  (Roberts U-15)

11/3/2007– The Northern Cambria Lady Colts captured the District 6 Class A Volleyball Championship. Several girls on the NC team are members of the PA Blue Thunder Organization. (Brittany Sedlock, Jenn Valeria, Ariel Rocco, Janae Dunchack and Breanna Kochinsky)

4/21/2008– PA Blue Thunder-Roberts captured the U-15 Championship at the Reebok Deep South Classic in Raleigh  this past weekend.  It is the first time that a Central PA AAU team has won a major tournament at the national level. 

Their Deep South opponents at had a combined tournament record of 19-6. Great job ladies!!!!

5/24/2008– NC Sophomore Janae Dunchack captures her 2nd consecutive PIAA Gold Medal in the AA high jump.
